Crop insurance proposals invited

The Assistant Director, Department of Agriculture, Mysuru, in a press release, has indicated the premium rates for various crops under the Karnataka Raitha Suraksha Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The premium rates per acre of paddy (irrigation) is Rs. 680, horsegram (rain-dependent) Rs. 136, ragi (irrigation) Rs. 352 and ragi (rain-dependent) Rs. 288. Last date to submit the insurance proposal is Aug. 14.
