Crowd management needed at Chamundi Hill Temple

October 23, 2022

Sir,

In a span of 2 to 3 months, I have visited Chamundi Hill Temple twice and both the times, I had bad experience near the entrance to garbhagudi. As one reaches the sanctum sanctorum, there is a lot of push and pull, thus disturbing the minds of devotees who would want some peace of  mind and pray for the well-being of their family or seek fulfilment of the vows.

My question is, when other temples with huge crowds are able to manage, why can’t we do the same at Chamundi Temple and enable devotees to have a good experience? Hope the Temple Administration will look into this in right earnest.
