Crowned ‘Miss Josephite’

Mysuru:  St. Joseph’s College for Women, Sathagalli, had recently organised Miss Josephite Contest for the students which was a part of Ethnic Day celebration. Prizes were distributed to the students who had won in literary and sports events.

Cultural events like solo dance, solo singing, ramp walk etc. were held, where the students displayed their talents.

On the occasion, Hina Kouser of II B.Com was crowned ‘Miss Josephite 2018.’

J. Mary Jennifer, Principal of PU College, Jayalakshmipuram,  was the chief guest.

The guest of honour was Prof. C. Mani Mathew and Principal Dr. R. Manu presided over the event.

The welcome address was given by Antony Mary, HoD of Kannada and Gulshan Sadaf, HoD of Commerce, proposed a vote of thanks.

The contestants brought a colourful and festive look to the Ethnic Day celebration where the students were seen dressed up in traditional, retro as well as western styles.
