CSR initiative: Canara Bank donates COVID combat amenities

Mysore/Mysuru: Canara Bank, Regional Office I, Mysuru, conducted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activity at Government Children’s Home for Girls (Balamandira), Lalitha Mahal Road, Mysuru, on May 7. 

As part of the initiative, COVID combat amenities like N-95 face mask, hand wash and hand sanitisers worth Rs. 25,000 for the inmates were donated to the officials in charge of the facility.

Region Head of Canara Bank, Mysuru Unit, I.P. Mithanthaya, Deputy General Manager and Mohammad Ismail, Assistant General Manager, Mysuru ROI, along with other staff members participated in the event. 

The Orphanage authority thanked the Canara Bank for reaching out to them with support during this pandemic.
