CVL Sastry Memorial State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament: Spoorthy finishes runner-up

M.V. Spoorthy, a student of SBRR Mahajana FGC, taking part in the CVL Sastry Memorial State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at Bengaluru finished arunner-up in the women’s singles on Sunday last.

In the women’s singles final, V. Kushi beat M.V. Spoorthy (BNM) 11-7, 1-11, 11-6, 12-10, 11-8. In the semi-finals, M.V. Spoorthy beat Sushmitha Bidiri 9-11, 11-9, 11-3, 11-5,12-10. In the Youth girls singles event, Yeshaswini Ghorpade (Skies) beat M.V. Spoorthy (BNM) 11-8, 11-9, 11-9, 9-11, 6-11, 9-11, 11-9.
