CWG bronze medallist Shilpa to be felicitated in city

Mysuru: Commonwealth Games-2026 (CWG) bronze medallist K.S. Shilpa will be felicitated by Akhila Namdhari Sangha on Sept. 6 at an event to be held at Cauvery auditorium of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in city at 10 am, said Sangha President K.T. Gopal.

Addressing press persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here, he said that the event will be inaugurated by Karnataka State Seed and Organic Certification Agency (KSSOCA) former Chairman D. Sundaradas.

KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. A.P. Gnana Prakash, Kodagu ZP former President H.S. Ashok, Mysuru ZP former President Parimala Shyamsundar and Namadhari Central Association former President C.G. Nagaraj will be the chief guests.

The Sangha will also felicitate para athlete Shilpa’s parents Shantha & Shyla and Coach Raghavendra, he said.

Ashok, Jayaram, T. Radhakrishna and others were present in the press meet.
