Mysuru: As part of cyber awareness initiative by GSS Foundation and Alert Citizen Team (ACT) with support from Prathinidhi Kannada daily, the Department of CSE-Cybersecurity, MIT, Mysuru, had organised a talk on ‘Cybercrime’ by N. Sneha Raj, ACP-Cybercrime, Mysuru, at the placement auditorium of MIT in city recently.
The ACP highlighted various cyber crimes and called upon youths to join hands in making the society, especially the vulnerable, aware of the cyber crimes and necessary measures to remain safe.
She also touched upon the narcotics problems in the society and asked the youths to safeguard their future.
D. Srihari of GSS Foundation, Col. Ravi of ACT, C.K. Mahendra of Prathinidhi Kannada daily, Dr. B.G. Nareshkumar, Principal of MIT Mysuru, Dr. Ravichandra, Dean of R&D and Head of the Department of CSE-IC, faculty coordinators C.K. Seema and M.S. Kruthik were present on the occasion.
