Cyclist Mahesh makes Mysuru proud

Mahesh Choudhary of Mysuru completed 1,200 km Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 2019 cycling event conducted by Audax Club Parisien, held in Paris recently. PBP is conducted once in every 4 years. The entry criteria for PBP is that the cyclist must have completed at least one Super Randonneur (SR) series comprising of 200km, 300km, 400km and 600km Brevet rides within one calendar year.

Mahesh has completed five SR’s and has additionally ridden 1,000 km rides 3 times and 1,200 km rides 2 times before attempting PBP 2019. Over 6,700 riders from around the world participated in the PBP 2019 and Mahesh was one of the 180+ Indian riders and the only person from Mysuru. Mahesh is the first Mysurean to have attempted this feat.
