‘Daasara Daasa’ musical concert on Aug.8

Mysuru:  The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has organised a unique Musical feature ‘Daasara Daasa’ based on Kanakadasa’s songs at Sri Vasudevacharya Bhavan, JLB Road, in city on Aug.8  at 5 pm.

Natyacharya Guru G.K. Ashwath Harithas will inaugurate. Hanuru Channappa, Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture, will be the chief guest.

Vidwan Dr.R.S. Nandakumar, renowned Scholar-Musician, will preside. Nagalakshmi, Subbanna and Kaveramma will be the special invitees.

At 5 pm: Music by Sumana Srikanth and Disciples;  6.15 pm: Musical feature by Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, Sumukha Srivatsa, M.R. Sriharsha, M.S.Kousthubh, V.G. Nagaraj, Aishwarya with Instrumental support. Narration and portrayal by N. Dhananjaya and U.S. Ramanna.
