Rani Abbakka Samskrutika Utsava (Cultural Festival), ‘Rani Abbakka Award’ presentation ceremony-2 — Sri Vidya Prasanna Theertha Sripadangal of Kukke Sri Subramanya Mutt will confer the award on journalist Vijayalakshmi Shibaruru; Chitpavana Brahmana Sangha President Srikara Hebbar, Mysuru Hotel Owners Association Charitable Trust President Ravi Shastri, Gowda Saraswata Brahmana Sabha President M. Mahesh Shenoi and Lingappa Gowda of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Gowda Sangha guests of honour, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Sangha President V. Srinivasa Rao will presides, 5 pm; Mime show ‘Puranadinda Kaliyugadavarage,’ 6 pm; ‘Hasya Sanje’ and Byari cultural programme, 6.20 pm; Staging of Kannada play ‘Rani Abbakka’ by Vidhatri troupe, Maharaja’s College Grounds, 7 pm.
