Seek arrest of former MLC G. Madhusudan

Mysuru: Samvidana Samrakshana Horata Samiti has called for Mysuru Bandh on Nov.22 from 6 am to 5 pm seeking arrest of former MLC G. Madhusudan for his alleged demeaning comments on Indian Constitution.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Sri Jnanaprakash Swamiji of Urilinga Peddi Mutt said that hundreds of Samiti members comprising students, researchers, lawyers, writers and Dalit leaders would congregate at Town Hall here on Nov. 22 and march to the DC’s office to hand over a memorandum.

He strongly condemned the behaviour of Madhusudan in passing derogatory remark on the holy Constitution.

He opined that Madhusudan, should be arrested on sedition charges under IPC Section 124A. He said that an FIR has been lodged at Devadurga Police Station in Raichur district against Madhusudan in that context but regretted that Mysuru Police were reluctant to book a case against Madhusudan.
