Dandikere Mutt Seer passes away

Dandikere Pattada Mutt Seer Shasasthala Brahma Sri Vidwan Mahantha Swamiji passed away at the Mutt premises located on T. Narasipur Road this morning. He was 83.  Born in 1934, Swamiji served as a teacher in Maharaja Sanskrit College for 33 years before taking over the reins of the Mutt.

His last rites will be held tomorrow morning at the Mutt premises according to Veerashiva rituals.  Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and pontiffs of various other Mutts are expected to be present.
