DAR Police HC’s sister kidnapped

Chamarajanagar: A woman, sister of District Armed Reserve (DAR) Police Head Constable (HC) has been allegedly kidnapped and a case has been registered at Chamarajanagar Town Police Station.

The woman, who has been kidnapped, is 25-year-old Shyamala, sister of DAR HC Mahadevaswamy.

They were residing together along with their brother Premkumar at the   Police Quarters.

Premkumar, in his complaint, has stated that on May 16 at about 11.45 pm, three persons who came in a silver coloured Toyota Etios car, kidnapped Shyamala in the car on the road next to the Police Quarters and   sped away.

He also expressed doubts over the involvement of one Raghu of Shivanasamudra in the kidnap incident.

Chamarajanagar Town Police, who have registered a case in this regard, have launched a hunt to nab the alleged kidnappers.
