Mysuru: Darpan Jain took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru yesterday afternoon.

The outgoing DC K.B. Sivakumar handed over the charge to Darpan Jain. The officers in the Deputy Commissioner’s office gave a warm send-off to Sivakumar at the Government Guest House in Nazarabad yesterday.

It may be recalled that on the direction of Election Commission of India, 16 IAS Officers including Jain had been transferred, a day before the election notification was issued.
