12 noon : Large and Medium Scale Industries Minister Murugesh R. Nirani inaugurates Industrial Seminar at Vijnana Bhavan, Mysuru.

12.30 pm : Film actor Dr. Shiva Rajkumar inaugurates Film Festival at Kalamandira.

12.30 pm : Horticulture Minister Muniratna inaugurates Flower Show at Kuppanna Park.

1 pm : District Minister S.T.  Somashekar inaugurates Aahara Mela at Bharat Scouts and Guides Ground.

3.30 pm : Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurates Dasara Wrestling Competition at Sri Devaraja Urs Multipurpose Stadium,  Karnataka Exhibition Grounds.

4 pm : Tourism Minister Anand Singh inaugurates Exhibition at Karnataka Exhibition                       Authority premises.

5 pm : District Minister S.T. Somashekar inaugurates Yoga Dasara – Dance Drama at Oval Grounds.

5.30 pm : District Minister S.T. Somashekar inaugurates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – Flower Show at Mysore Palace premises.

5.30 pm :Kannada & Culture Minister V. Sunil Kumar inaugurates State-level Sculptures Expo at  Kalamandira.

6.30 pm : Kannada & Culture Minister V. Sunil Kumar inaugurates City Illumination at Hasiru Mantapa, New Sayyaji Rao Road.

CULTURAL PROGRAMMES – MYSORE PALACE

5.30 pm to 6 pm : Nadaswara by Yadunath and Gururaj troupe; Veerabhadra Kunita by Kiralu Mahesh and troupe.

6 pm : Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurates Dasara Cultural programmes and will present ‘Rajya Sangeetha Vidwan’ Award.

7 pm to 8 pm : Dance feature ‘Amrutha Bharatige Kannadadarathi’ by Sapthaswara Arts and Creations, Bengaluru.

8 pm to 9.30 pm : Sugama Sangeetha by H.R. Leelavathi, Mysuru.
