‘Dasara Darshan’ KSRTC deploys 125 buses

Mysuru:  ‘Dasara Darshan’ to facilitate people from villages to visit Mysuru and go around important spots, organised by Dasara Darshan Sub-Committee in association with KSRTC was launched by Transport Minister D.C. Thammanna near Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple here this morning.

KSRTC has deployed 125 buses to pick up villagers from 31 taluks of Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu and Hassan districts in the morning and drop them back in the evening for an affordable price of Rs. 50 per person.

The facility will be for three days beginning today. The Tahsildars of taluks have been instructed to issue passes to eligible villagers taking into consideration their economic background.
