N. Mahesh’s resignation forwarded to Governor: CM

Bengaluru: Dismissing speculations that efforts are underway to persuade Primary and Secondary Education Minister N. Mahesh, the lone BSP Minister in his Cabinet, to withdraw his resignation, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has said that the Minister’s resignation letter has been forwarded to the Governor for acceptance.

Addressing a press meet at his JD(S) party headquarters in the State Capital this morning, Kumaraswamy merely said that following a direction from BSP National Secretary Satish Mishra, the resignation letter of N. Mahesh was forwarded to the Governor for acceptance.

However, the Chief Minister  refused to divulge more details on the issue.
