Dasara Expo Stall owners asked to close shop at 10 pm

October 4, 2019

Mysuru: The jurisdictional Nazarbad Police have asked the stall owners at Dasara Exhibition to close the shops at 10 pm everyday in order to maintain law and order and to ensure the safety of visitors.

Nazarbad Inspector Mahadevaswamy held a meeting in this regard with stall owners at the Expo premises yesterday.

Pointing out that keeping the shops open after 10 pm will spell trouble for aged persons and children, he said that late night shoppers will not get transport to their homes and also they have to face the threat of being robbed etc.

The Inspector directed the Expo authorities to stop issuing entry tickets by 9 pm every day and on public and general holidays by 9.30 pm.
