Mysuru:  Dasara Film Festival will be held in city from Oct.10 to 17. The festival will be inaugurated on Oct.10 at 10.30 am at a function to be held at Kalamandira here with Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy President Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President S.A. Channegowda, Actors Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Vijayaraghavendra, Harshika Poonacha, Parul Yadav, Rishab Shetty and Director Satya Prakash as special guests. Lecture programmes on making of short movies has been organised on Oct.13 and 14.  Kannada and foreign movies will be screened at Inox multiplex at Mall of Mysore from Oct.12 to 17.
