Bengaluru: The Department of School Education has announced the list of Dasara holidays 2026-27 for schools in the State. This time, the schools will remain closed for a good 19 days. The list of holidays announced by the Department of School Education and Literacy is applicable for all Government, aided and private primary, middle and high schools of the State.

According to the list of academic holidays, Dasara holidays for schools will begin from Oct. 3 and will end on Oct. 21.  The schools will re-open on Oct. 22. Since Oct. 2 is also a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti, the school children will have 19-day continuous holidays during this year Dasara.
