Nine players — L. Vivekananda, V.P.S. Darshan, Sharan R. Setty, S.N. Jatin, C. Pavan, Srinivasa, Chaitanya Ganesh, N. Venkatesh Babu and M. Shivanth — shared the lead with three points from three rounds in the Dasara Open Chess Tournament in the men’s section yesterday.

The tourney is conducted by MDCA under the aegis of UKCA, jointly with DYES and the District Administration at the Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium here.

After three rounds, in the Women’s Open section, Prasiddhi Bhat, K. Deepthi Lakhsmi, M.K. Navyashree, Dhatri Umesh, Hemadri Satish and K. Vidya share the lead with three points.

In U-15, S. Abhinayak, Aryan Anand, J. Sandeep and C. Abhishek share the lead with three points; In U-13, Rudrashish Chakra-borty, Rajath Gururaj and Deekshith Kumar Reddy with 3 points share the lead.

In U-11, S.A. Aryan Surya, R. Asvath Ram, H. Avyukth share the lead with three points. In U-9, N.C. Gambhir, R. Hruthvik, Ashith Kumar Gowda and P. Sukruth share the lead with three points.
