Mysuru: As heavy rush of passengers is anticipated during Dasara festival in Mysuru Railway Station, the South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to increase the Platform ticket fare to Rs.20 (from the existing Rs.10) for a period of 14 days from Oct.2 to Oct. 15. 

This move is to regulate crowd on Platforms and make free way for passengers alighting or getting on to the train to go to their respective destinations. 

This temporary measure is taken as a public safety precaution so that bona fide passengers are not inconvenienced due to the presence of a large number of persons on platforms.
