Pailwan Babu Saheb Shinde ‘Dasara Kanteerava’; Pailwan Hanumanth ‘Dasara Kesari’; Pailwan C. Sunil ‘Dasara Kishora’; Pailwan Shalina Siddi ‘Dasara Kishori’; Pailwan Sanjeev Koravara ‘Dasara Kishora Rathna’ & Pailwan Harsharaj ‘Mysuru Dasara Kumar’ 

Mysuru: Curtains fell on this year’s Dasara Wrestling Competition with final bouts of all titles held at D. Devaraj Urs Multi-Purpose Stadium, adjacent to Dasara Exhibition Grounds here yesterday.  

The State-level ‘Dasara Kanteerava’ title was won by Pailwan Bapu Saheb Shinde of Mudhol in Bagalkot defeating Pailwan Basavaraj Patil of Davanagere. Pailwan Hemanth Vittal Kempanna of Mysuru won the ‘Dasara Kesari’ title defeating Pailwan Paramananda of Begalavi. Pailwan C. Sunil also of Mysuru won the ‘Dasara Kishora’ title defeating Pailwan Muttu Basappa Navi of Bagalkot, Pailwan Shalina Siddi of Haliyala won the ‘Dasara Kishori’ title defeating Pailwan Swathi Raju Patil of Mysuru and Pailwan Sanjeev Koravara won the ‘Dasara Kishora Rathna’ title defeating Pailwan Arjun of Davanagere.  

In the Mysuru division bouts, Pailwan Harsharaj won the ‘Mysuru Dasara Kumar’ title defeating Pailwan R. Nithin of Yodha Akhada, Chamundi Vihar Stadium.  

The winners were presented with silver mace by Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda. Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Development Corporation Chairman C. Narendra, Dasara Wrestling Sub-Committee President Pailwan Srinivas, Deputy Special Officer L. Nagesh and wrestling coach Vinod were present on the occasion.
