The last date for receiving online applications for Post Matric hostels (Professional Degree and PG students only) for Backward Class students has been extended. Date for Boys and Girls under Category-1, SC and ST students (annual income limit Rs. 2.5 lakh) and Category-2, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other Backward Classes (annual income Rs. 1 lakh) has been extended till Feb. 29. Students can submit their applications with necessary documents and can contact Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Officer’s Office, says a press release issued by the District Backward Classes Welfare Officer.
