Day-long Job Counselling at CIPET on May 28

Mysuru: Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) – Centre for Skilling Technical Support (CSTS), a premier National Institute under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, Mysuru Centre, is organising a one-day Job Counselling programme from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on May 28 at its premises, No.437/A, Hebbal Industrial Area in city.

Those who have passed SSLC / PUC / BSc., and PUC failed candidates may attend the career counselling.

During the day-long awareness programme, the significance of plastics and job opportunities available in the field will be demonstrated.

Also the CIPET contributions in terms of providing Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma programmes and technical services to the entrepreneurs will be explained by experts. Entry for the programme is free.

Courses offered at CIPET

PG Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT) – One and Half Year duration. Eligibility is B.Sc (Chemistry); Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) – Three Years duration. Eligibility – X std. pass; Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT) – Three Years duration. Eligibility is X std. Pass.

Admission is through Computer Based Test (CST) JEE 2018-19;  Candidate should have attained 15 years of age as on July 31, 2018.

Candidates can avail Educational Loan, Scholarships Assistance, Hostel facilities, etc.

Date of opening for JEE online applications – 28.4.2018; Date of closure for JEE application submission – 27.6.2018; Last date for issue of Admit Card for appearing CIPET – JEE: 30.6.2018; Date of CIPET-JEE: 1.7.2018; Date of commencement of courses: 1.8.2018, according to a press release.
