Mysuru:  The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in collaboration with the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) had organised a day-long Technical Fest ‘Open Source Day’ at its premises in city recently.

The function was inaugurated by chief guest Noor Afshan Fathima, Co-founder of Modulus Software, Member of FSMK. Gundappa Gowda, Hon. President, VV Sangha, S.N. Lakshminarayana, Hon. Treasurer, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, Dr. V. Ravi Kumar, HoD of CSE, Dr. A.B. Rajendra, HoD of ISE, were present.

Akash Kuttappa of Scapic, Bengaluru, Nithin Kashyap and Amar Teragundi of I-Weave Solutions, Bengaluru were the resource persons.

The Technical fest was co-ordinated by Prof. K.N. Prashanth Kumar, Assistant Professor of ISE and Prof.V.  Charunayan, Assistant Professor of CSE.
