Day-and-night protest by farmers from Oct.9

Mysuru: Demanding stern action against those trying to grab land by creating fake documents, the KRRS will begin an indefinite day-and-night dharna in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha in the city from Oct.9.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, KRRS leader M.S. Ashwath Narayan Raje Urs alleged that the Taluk Administration was encouraging a person who had grabbed 7.19 guntas of land in Kenchalagudu Survey No. 14 in the taluk by creating fake documents. As such, the KRRS was forced to stage the dharna in order to press the Revenue Minister, District in-Charge Minister and the DC to take action against the culprit.
