DAY-NULM: Applications invited for skill training and availing subsidy

Mysuru: Under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY-NULM), the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has invited applications from eligible candidates to provide skill development training and employment from SAN IT Solutions Private Limited for the year 2019-20. 

A total of 274 candidates who have passed SSLC and PUC will be selected and trained as domestic biometric data operator, domestic data operator, domestic IT help desk attendant, junior software developer, CRM domestic voice and GST accounts assistants. 

Training will be conducted at No. 763, 10th Cross, 9th Main, Moksha Marga, 1st Floor, Siddarthanagar; at No. 371/A, Prestige Shopping Arcade, 3rd Floor, JLB road, Ramaswamy Circle and at No. 676, New K-21, Next to Lakshmi Talkies, 100 feet road, Mysuru. Bannur Municipal limits 

Applications are invited from people living in the Bannur Municipal limits also to provide assistance in order to set up Self Help Groups (SHG), conduct skill development training programme under Self-Employment Project (SEP)  of DAY-NULM.

For loan amount availed under personal loan of SEP, interest subvention over and above 7 percent rate of interest will be provided monthly once from the bank online. Under SEP, up to 10 rural poor women (BPL) can come together and form a SHG within the Municipal limits. These SHGs, preferably 

of widows, roadside vendors and differently-abled women, are eligible to avail loan under subvention scheme with 9 percent rate of interest.

Applications are invited from eligible unemployed youth willing to undergo training before Nov.20. For more details, contact nearest DAY-NULM branch, according to a press release.
