DC asks officials to expedite works on Samudaya Bhavans

May 13, 2017

Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has directed concerned officials to expedite works on Samudaya Bhavans being constructed across the district.

Speaking at a progress review meeting at his office here on Friday, Randeep instructed the officials to complete Samudaya Bhavans (community hall) meant for Backward Classes and  SC/ST communities.

Taking note of the unavailability of land for construction of sanctioned Bhavans at some places in the district, the DC asked the officials to mark the sites and begin the works immediately.

He also asked the PDOs to identify land in their respective Gram Thanas. The officials presented statistics concerning the sanction of Samudaya Bhavans between 2013 and 2017.

ZP CEO P. Shivashankar, BCM Welfare Department District Officer Somashekar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Development Corporation District Manager  Bharathi and other officials took part in the meeting.
