Mysuru:  An awareness programme on diarrhoea organised by District Administration and Department of Health and Family Welfare was launched by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar at Cheluvamba Hospital here on Monday. The programme will go on till June 9 at all Primary Health Centres, Taluk Health Centres and General Hospitals in the district.

The DC has asked people to maintain cleanliness at home and stressed the importance of Oral Rehydrating Salt (ORS).

Officials of Department of Health and doctors of Cheluvamba Hospital were present.
