Mysuru: With the State Assembly polls round the corner, it is reliably learnt that Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. Randeep has been transferred and is likely to be posted as Hassan DC. However, the Government is yet to issue an official order in this regard.

Randeep, who was Vijayapura DC earlier, had assumed charge as Mysuru DC on Aug.12, 2016 following the transfer of C. Shikha, who was given a posting at Bengaluru.

Randeep is said to be replaced by Hassan DC Rohini Sindhuri Dasari and the official order is likely to be issued in a couple of days.

The State Government is said to have prepared a list of nine IAS Officers and 12 IPS Officers to be transferred and the names of Randeep and Rohini figure prominently in the list.

The Government has forwarded the list to the Election Commission for approval before issuing an official order on the transfers, it is also learnt.

Meanwhile, Hassan DC Rohini Sindhuri, reaching to reports on her transfer this morning, said that she had not received any official order in this regard till now.
