DCP orders Cops to compulsorily wear face masks, hand gloves while on duty

Mysore/Mysuru: Even as the COVID-19 cases are rising by the day in the District, DCP (Law & Order) Dr. A. N. Prakash Gowda has ordered all Police personnel to mandatorily wear face masks and hand gloves and to use hand sanitisers while at work.

The Police personnel were also asked not to touch any vehicles, objects or articles with bare hands and to carry out their routine duties only by wearing face masks and hand gloves.

Following the order, Lakshmipuram Police personnel were briefed by Police Inspector Venkatesh in detail about the dos and dont’s while on duty near the DC’s Office here this morning.

The Deputy Commissioner Office comes under the jurisdiction of Lakshmipuram Police Station.
