Mysuru: The boxing squad of De Paul International Residential School (DPIRS), Mysuru, delivered a knockout show at the CISCE National- level Boxing Tournament-2025, clinching 4 gold and 3 bronze medals at Ghamapur, Jabalpur Diocese, Madhya Pradesh recently.

R. Rohan, a Class XII ISC Commerce student, secured his fourth consecutive CISCE National Champion’s title, a rare feat that places him among the finest young boxers in the school circuit. His performance earned him yet another ticket to the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Joining Rohan on the golden podium were Andrew Sanjay, Likha Jitan and Daarji Nyori, each displaying remarkable agility and courage inside the ring. Their victories too guarantee them berths at the SGFI, where they will represent their School and State on the national stage.

The medal tally was further enriched by Ngurang Tani, Karthik Gowda and G. Rohith, who fought with grit and resolve to secure 3 bronze medals.

The Championship, hosted by Christ Church Jabalpur Diocese High School ISC, witnessed spirited competition from across India, making DPIRS’ medal haul a proud moment for Mysuru and the region.

Principal Rev. Fr. Anish Xavier CM, applauding the boxers, said that the achievement reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence not only in academics but also in sports. He also credited DPIRS Physical Education Director K.G. Naresh for his role in shaping the  young pugilists.
