Death trap on Kalidasa Road

May 10, 2023

Sir,

Though a good work has been executed by the authorities concerned in laying a pedestrian-friendly footpath on Kalidasa Road, unfortunately they have left a death trap at the junction of 12th Cross and Kalidasa Road near Hotel Top Stuff.

The authorities have left a  big gap of about four feet at this junction of the storm water drainage. This junction is frequented by the public visiting doctors, medical shops and eateries in the vicinity of this junction.

Since more than a month neither the contractor nor the department engineers have bothered to get this junction of storm water drain covered with the concrete slabs.  Before it is too late I request the authorities to cover this  junction with the slabs and save the public from facing  any unwarranted and unwanted situations.
