Deepavali cracker stalls: Apply for licence before Sept. 17

As Deepavali, the festival of lights will be celebrated from Oct. 24 to 26, City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta has asked those intending to open cracker stalls at various city layouts to apply for the licence by submitting the prescribed application LE-5 at the City Police Commissioner’s Office before Sept. 17. Applications received after Sept. 17 will not be considered, according to a press release.
