Deepavali: Nine persons treated for minor burn injuries at K.R. Hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: Nine persons were treated for minor burn injuries at K.R. Hospital in city during Deepavali festival.

Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery Dr. Mohan, speaking to Star of Mysore this morning, said that out of nine persons, seven were treated at the Ophthalmology Department of the hospital besides stating that all the nine persons were treated as out-patients with none of them being admitted as in-patients.

Anticipating surge in patients due to burns this Deepavali, burns ward was readied at K.R. Hospital for emergency but luckily, no major burn injuries were reported.
