Demand for naming proposed Chamarajanagar Varsity after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Mysore/Mysuru: Prof. K.S. Rangappa Fans Association has urged the Government to name the proposed Varsity at Chamarajanagar after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday, Association President Dr. S.K. Kumar said that a memorandum has already been submitted to the Government seeking naming of Chamarajanagar University after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Government should act on the same.

Suggesting to start professional and other skill-based courses apart from  conventional courses such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA, M.Com etc.,  Dr. Kumar said that such courses will shape the career of many students and also help in employability of students. 

Association office-bearers Girish, Dr. S. Shashikumar, Dr. K.G. Ramesh, Praveen and others were present.
