Mysuru: The State Government has deputed Head of Dermatology Section Dr. M. Nanjundaswamy to officiate as in-Charge Medical Superintendent of K.R. Hospital.

The post had fallen vacant on retirement of Dr. M. Srinivas from the position on Saturday.

Speaking to the press after assuming charge yesterday, Dr. Nanjundaswamy said that he would focus on providing quality treatment to patients ensuring good stock of life-saving drugs not to exclude cleanliness.

He assured to further strengthen the Out-Patient Department, Laboratory, Radiology Section and Emergency Wing.

He added that he would co-ordinate with MMC&RI Dean and Director and all Heads of units of K.R. Hospital for overall development of the Hospital.
