Mysore/Mysuru: A Committee constituted by the Syndicate of the University of Mysore (UoM) under the Chairmanship of the Registrar (Evaluation) to suggest the pattern of Convocation dress has invited suggestions from the general public, alumni of the Varsity and the designers.
This is being done following directions from University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Governor of Karnataka to use Khadi and handloom fabrics. Interested can suggest the pattern and colour for the Convocation dress keeping in mind the culture and heritage of Karnataka and UoM.
Suggestions or designs may be sent to: uni.convocationdresscode@gmail.com or WhatsApp to: 99860-43711 or drop in the Suggestions Box kept in the Office of the Registrar (Evaulation), University of Mysore, with the caption “Convocation Dress Code” before Feb 18.
