Desiranga Natakotsava in city from Feb. 26

As part of the ongoing theatre and dance training camp from Feb. 8 to Mar. 1, attended by about 50 students, a four-day Desiranga Natakotsava has been organised by Desiranga Samskruthika Samsthe from Feb. 26 to Mar. 1 in city.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, writer Krishna Janamana said that the event will be inaugurated writer Prof. K.S. Bhagwan on Feb. 26 at 11 am at the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat auditorium near Palace North Gate here.

The Natakotsava will be launched by writer Sarvamangala on Feb. 27 at 6 pm at Vanaranga in Rangayana premises here with the staging of the solo play Niraakarane with B.S. Dinamani essaying several characters of mythology all alone.

Continuing, Krishna Janamana said that the programme on Feb. 28 would feature book release and the play Koneya aidu Dinagalu followed by valedictory function on Mar. 1 featuring a dance programme by camp trainees.

Writer and artiste B.S. Dinamani was present at the press conference.
