Dhanotsava-2022 held in city

Mysore/Mysuru: Marking 139th birth anniversary of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar HEARt Organisation, Mysuru, in association Rotary West School, had organised ‘Dhanotsava-2022’ at the School premises in Saraswathipuram on Saturday.

Speaking after inauguration the programme DDPI Ramachandra Raje Urs lauded the efforts made by the Organisation by organising such programmes and spreading knowledge among children on Nalwadi. “Children must know the history and culture of Mysuru and should also be  familiar with all the kings who ruled the place. Children must show interest in learning about Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar thoughts, his vision, social concerns etc.,” he said.

District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. K.H. Prasad who was the chief guest on the occasion said that the initiative of the organisation is appreciative. “The like-minded people through these kinds of programmes have spread a message conveying that no one in the world is an orphan. We are together for each other and will support each other in tough times. Such programmes help in developing a good mindset among children. Before contributing anything to society, one must be healthy enough,” he added.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma of HEARt Organisation who too spoke said “Indian’s have a great mindset to donate small things to those who are in need. Children must be educated to donate basic things to the poor and needy. A correct donation in the right time holds a great value,” he said

HEARt Organisation President Shivakumar, Vice-President Dr. A.R. Renuka Prasad, Executive member V.J Minchu, Rotary West School President Rtn. C.S. Ravishankar, Treasurer Rtn. Gangadhar, Principal Poornima, staff and students were present.
