Dharmaraja Rajasuya Yaga drama staged in city

Mysuru: Renuka Kala Vrinda, Mysuru, staged the drama “Dharmaraja Rajasuya Yaga” in the Town Hall here on Tuesday last.

The following were the drama artistes: Suthradhara by C. Dasappa, Lord Krishna by K. Manjunath, Dharmaraja by D. Devaiah, Bhimasena by H. Mahadevu, Arjuna by Honna Nayaka, Nakula by Adarsha, Sahadeva by Srinivasachar, Naradha by H.R. Yogaraju, Jarasandha by H.G. Shivakumar, Duryodhana by H.L. Shivabasappa, Sowbalaraja Shakuni by Dr. N.N. Prahallada, Bhishma by Shivananju, Dhushayasan by Suresh Guddappa, Karna by Mallashetty, Shishupala by Muddanna Gowda, Shathyabhamay and  Sucharithray by Rekhasree, Drowpadi by Geethasree and Dance by H. Roopasree. 

Music was scored by the following: Harmonium – H.P. Nagendraprasad, Tabla – Shivakumar, Cashio – P. Lokesh and Talavadya  – Narasimhachar. 

Dress and Makeup by Umesh Drama Troupe of Mandya.

The drama was directed by Veteran Drama Master H.P. Nagendra Prasad of Mysuru.
