‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ Award presentation on Sept. 30

Marking the 109th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister late D. Devaraj Urs, the city’s Anveshana Seva Trust will be conferring ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award on six achievers from different fields at a programme to take place at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road at 10.30 am on Sept. 30.

Former Minister P.G.R. Sindhia will inaugurate the programme,  while District Congress President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar will preside. MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will speak on the contributions of Devaraj Urs, while former Kuvempu University Vice-Chancellor Dr. K. Chidananda Gowda will confer the ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award on achievers: City-based  Poetess Dr. Latha Rajashekar, Aushad Group of Companies Managing Director Chandragupta V. Jain, AHINDA Community leader T.P. Ramesh of Madikeri, Vasavi Prakashana Director Ramanath Gupta, retired Senior Superintendent of Post Offices K.
