Dialogue matters & serves the city

September 1, 2026

It is reassuring when constructive criticism leads to positive action and officials entrusted with governing our city receive it in the spirit with    which it is intended.

When a local newspaper or a credible media draws attention to an issue and the administration responds, the real winner is neither the newspaper nor the Government but the city and its citizens.

Constructive criticism is not the adversary of good governance, it is in fact one of its greatest allies.

We are grateful to the new MCC Commissioner, M.K. Savitha, for recognising this vital partnership between the media and the administration.

Such dialogue reassures citizens that their voices are being heard and strengthens public confidence that, together, we can build a better Mysuru.
