“Did not refer to urine”: MP Pratap Simha

November 30, 2017

Mysuru: Reacting to the ‘urine controversy’, MP Pratap Simha said “What I spoke was blown out of proportion by electronic media.”

He said he was reacting to what Champa had said about Union Minister Ananth Kumar wetting his pajamas thinking about secularism. All he had said was that whenever Champa speaks, his language reeks of foul smell and he had never referred to urine. “It is very difficult to lead a public life and face  criticism without any substance. The way media creates controversies is another kind of challenge. If one is weak then one would even think of committing suicide,” he said.
