To commemorate the birthday of Sri Ramanujacharya, the Sabha and Andal Mandiram Trust have jointly organised a discourse by Dr. G.V. Narasimhan on Apr. 22 at Andal Mandiram in VV Mohalla at 6 pm.
Profile: Born in the year 1986 in a reputed family of the disciples of Sri Ramanujacharya, Dr. G.V. Narasimhan is the son of Gomatam Varadaraja Iyengar and Neela Varadarajan. He has undergone training in Sanskrit lessons from his father and M.D. Alamelamma, in 4,000 Divya Prabandham, Krishna Yajurveda Patam and Yajusha Poorna Prayoga Patam.
His Gurus are Thirunarayanapuram U.Ve. Kainkaryam Srinivasa Iyengar for Dwayamanthropadesam, U.Ve. Ariyar Ramasharma Swamy for Grantha Kalakshepam and U.Ve Veeraraghavachar Swamy for Nyaya Vedantha Patam.
A doctorate holder in Commerce, Dr. Narasimhan is serving as Assistant Professor at PES College in Mandya.
