Discussion on ‘One Nation-One Election’ at Vidhana Soudha on Dec. 14, 15

Bengaluru: A two-day special discussion will be held at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Dec. 14 and 15 on the topic ‘One Nation – One Election’ which is mooted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a news conference, State Legislative Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri has asked members to discipline themselves due to COVID-19. “Everyone was aware that second wave of Corona has begun and they need to wear mask, use hand sanitiser and maintain social distancing. Asymptomatic members could get RT-PCR test conducted in the Banquet Hall. Treatment would be given, if necessary,” he added.

Kageri said that the CM, Leaders of Opposition in both the Houses and members would participate and deliberate on the topic on both days.
