RBI Officer clarifies; creating awareness important
Even though Rs.10 coin is in circulation, only in Karnataka the public are refusing to use it. Rs.10 coin has been minted in such a way that it cannot be duplicated. Since its longevity is more than the Rs.10 currency notes, it has been minted and cannot be duplicated. However, people are not coming forward to use it. Awareness should be created about using this Rs.10 coin, said Bengaluru RBI LDO Saroj Bhatia.
