Exemption from Poll Duty on medical grounds: Committee set-up to inspect

Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar, who is also the District Election Officer, has ordered to set-up a District Medical Scrutinising Committee to inspect Government employees requesting exemption from Poll Duty on medical grounds.

This Committee will have Dr. Basavaraju, District Health and Family Welfare Department, as its President, Dr. Pashupathi, Mysuru District Surgeon, Venkatasheshu, District Treasury Officer and Pramodini, Typist, District Statistical Office as its Members.
