Mysuru: The Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA), headed by MLA N.A. Haris, has dissolved the Mysuru District Football Association (MDFA) Executive Committee for failing to conduct District-level Football League for three consecutive years.
Presiding over a meeting of Mysuru District Football Association at a private hotel here recently, Haris said that following the dissolution of MDFA Executive Committee, a new Ad-hoc Committee has been formed to oversee the functioning of the football body in Mysuru district. This Ad-hoc Committee has been vested with the powers to form the new Executive Committee by holding elections, he said adding that the Ad-hoc Committee has been given a three-month deadline to conduct District-level League tournament.
MDFA Ad-hoc Committee office-bearers are: Co-ordinator Sharavana Dharma, Members Praveen (Vijayanagar FC), Sathya (KSRTC FC) and Dr. Brijesh (Challengers Union FC).
League Committee Chairman Kushal, Members Chetan (Police FC), Syed (Lucky 11 FC), Quseen Ahmed (Sonia FC) and Vishal (Ambedkar FC).
MLA Tanveer Sait, KSFA office-bearers Satyanarayan, M. Kumar, Shakeel Abdul Rehman, Ismail, Hanif Mohammed, Sukanda and others attended the meeting.
